Spike Key Demo
Spike Key is a simple precision platformer with puzzle and resource management elements. The gameplay revolves around figuring out how to get to the goal while only using limited movements and surpassing challenging and precise platforming. The game consists of 30 stages, and 4 different characters to play.
The goal of the game is to get to the portal to progress to the next level.
You only have a limited amount of movements per stage, so watch how many you have left closely.
Controls:
- WASD or Arrow-Keys to move.
- Space bar for "Special Action".
- The menu is also controlled in the same way.
- No gamepad support.
- You may skip a Level with "Enter" or go back to a previous level with "Backspace".
- Restart a level with "R"
Suggestions:
- Play the downloadable Windows version if possible for the best experience.
- If you don't seem to enjoy normal mode due to the resource management aspect of it, try "Free Mode"
- If you are having trouble with a Level but want to see what's ahead, don't hesitate on skipping that Level, you can always go back to it later.
- If the game window is too small for your screen, try zooming ina little bit and refreshing the page :)
Known issues:
- The browser version has some audio, graphical an performance issues.
- The fonts for the timer and death counter are nos alligned properly in the browser version.
- Due to a browser specific bug the final 3 levels have been set to "free mode (unlimited actions)".
- Sometimes upon starting the game if the player clicks anywhere on the page outside the game window, the game stops responding to controls, try refreshingthe page in this case.

is this the full game? It's called the demo, so I wasn't sure if it was teh full game or not.
Its only a demo, I'm still working on the game.

This is a super cool idea and fun to play. I really appreciate how the tutorial fit seamlessly into the gameplay.
